Nokia just outed a new iteration of their candy-bar X3 handset and it now comes with a touch screen on top of the alphanumeric keypad (a rare combination).
The original Nokia X3 was announced back in September 2009, along with the Nokia X6.
This newer Nokia X3 (X3-02) is dubbed the Touch & Type which combines the usual alpha-numeric keypad and a touchscreen display.
Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type
2.4″ display 240 x 320 pixels
3G/HSDPA
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1
up to 16GB via microSD
5MP camera
FM Radio
The display has a resistive touchscreen and I’m looking at the X3-02 as a younger sibling of the full-qwerty Nokia X5. Nokia puts the suggested price of the Nokia X3-02 at 125 euros (roughly Php7,300) before taxes and/or subsidies.
