We recently got this
Toshiba Satellite E200 Special Edition laptop from Intel which runs their Core i5 processor. I actually have 2 other review laptops running Core i5 right now but another one wouldn’t hurt.
Of the 3 Core i5 laptops I’m using now, the Satellite E200 by Toshiba is getting the most hands-on time.
Toshiba Satellite E200 Special EditionIntel Core i5 520M @ 2.4GHz (2 cores, 4 threads)
4GB Dual-Channel DDR3 RAM
NVidia GeForce 310M 512MB RAM
500GB SATA HDD
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1
HDMI port
eSATA port
2 x USB 2.0 ports
5-in-1 card reader
6-cell Li-Ion battery
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
The Satellite E200 also comes with a slot-loading DVD+RW drive we don’t normally see in regular laptops (although it’s a staple on all MacBooks).
The unit has a nice back-lit keyboard with a very stylish design that reminds me of that
Sony Vaio E we reviewed earlier.
Don’t have the exact local price of the Toshiba Satellite E200 Special Edition but it’s listed at $1,489 in the US. Watch out for the full review soon.
