Looks like Creative, maker of music players and speakers, also created their own Android tablet — the
Creative Ziio and they come in 7-inch and 10-inch form factors.
Probably the most surprising fact between these two Android tablets is that Creative uses resistive screen displays when everybody else is moving towards capacitive display.
The
Creative Ziio comes in 7″ TFT (480×800 pixels) and 10″ (1024×768 pixels) with internal storage options of 8GB and 16GB, expandable using an SD/microSD card slot up to 32GB. Both have WiFi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.1 but no 3G options. There’s no Android Marketplace either so you’ll have to rely on the ZiiStore to get apps.
The price tag isn’t bad either — starts from Php13,500 to around Php15,000 for the 7-inch model.
