LG officially announced the

called the LG Star), with the number two signifying the dual-core Tegra 2
processor (and it will be the first smartphone to have one too).

The
LG Optimus 2X is set to be released in the first
quarter of 2011. There’s no mention of any price yet but I’m sure it
ain’t going to be cheap. We haven’t really seen any flagship Android
phone from LG here in the Philippines (the Optimus One is mid-range) so
I’m hoping LG Philippines will change that next quarter by bringing in
the Optimus 2X.
