Nokia outs C5-03 touch phone on Symbian^1

And when we thought Nokia’s all out with their new Symbian^3 OS, they’ll surprise us with this Nokia C5-03 running on Symbian^1 with a resistive touch screen.

The Nokia C5-03 looks like a cross between the Nokia 5800 XM and the Nokia C6-01, only a cheaper and dumbed-down version.

We know Nokia tried to make all possible types of phone for all kinds of people but a Symbian^1 resistive touchscreen phone does not seem to fit the picture. At 270 euros (~Php10,300) before taxes, maybe it’s just price positioning or addressing the continuous demand for their old but still popular 5800XM.
