Samsung Series 9 comes in 11.6″ too!

When Samsung launched their ultra-thin Series 9
laptop in the Philippines last week, they only showed the regular 13.3″
variant. I thought it’s such a waste they didn’t include a 11.6″
variant that would go head-to-head with the 11-inch Macbook Air.

Turns out they did a 11-incher too (as reported here) with better specs than the Mac Air equivalent.



The specs is similar to the 13.3″ Series 9, though with lower SSD capacity:

The 13-inch model has a suggested retail price of Php79,999 ($1,599
in the US) so I’m guessing the $1,199 price of the 11.-inch variant will
end up selling for Php59,999 when it hits the local market.
